Williamsburg Virginia is full of history. The city and the surrounding area have absolutely embraced their apparent role as a historic region and custodian of maintaining a living homage to the early days of America.
Williamsburg is awash with local attractions, landmarks and museums dedicated to telling the story of how our country was born, how people lived in the Colonial era, and how different prominent and well known, and sometimes little or never heard of people had such influence on how the United States was shaped in its formative years. For all the diversity and ambitions the heart and soul of America was built in this region.
So with all the posturing set aside let’s talk about the fun that any one can have by visiting Colonial Williamsburg. From events, to historical re-enactments, to just visiting any number of great landmarks you’ll find something to tickle your fancy as you visit this charming town. The actual area is called Colonial Williamsburg and is located on 301 acres where hundreds of buildings and other structures have been restored and maintained offering the visitor a quality visit. The grounds are manned by “actors” if you may, costumed in the garbs of the era, telling the different stories associated with the history of Williamsburg. From the great stories of heroism to the dark chapter that includes slavery. Some notable museums to visit would have to be the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Art Museum, the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum and Basset Hall.
The grounds has something for everyone and can also be an excellent educational experience. Contact the call center at (757) 229-1000 for information about visiting or just visit the Colonial Williamsburg official website to find out all it has to offer.

When the internet began, oh so many years ago, the big move was for the innovative entrepreneurs to create web sites that consolidated “inventory” as it were under one roof and try and sell for travel segments like hotels and airlines. The trend is still here, but it appears that for many suppliers they are saving the best deals for their own web sites.
As professionals in the travel market have become more comfortable utilizing the internet for business and going as far as hiring in-house employees to manage day to day operations of internet functions. The result, the desire by carriers to drive more people to their own websites in an effort to forge and build brand loyalty. The tool of choice in this war is the use of promotion and/or discount codes
Say you’re looking to take a Williamsburg Vacation or find a Las Vegas Vacation Package, that ReserveVacations.com offers. In this instance these packages do not provide transportation to the destination. So utilizing the so called promo codes makes the discounts on these vacations all the better. Go to, say JetBlues web site and you’ll find 10% off regular rate specials and discounts all by using the promo code method.
In an effort to make the vacation packages appear to be more enticing Reserve Vacations has figured out that this is a great way to make the already discounts on vacation packages they have better.
