Changing Travel to Fit Your Budget!

As we stated a few posts ago, the continuing decline in the economy has many businesses running for cover. The smart ones, however, are finding ways to survive and thrive. The online travel business is a beacon to this darkness that has befallen the economy as of late.
The first in line of the “big boys” showing great discount vacations is Travelocity. There set of deals actually came to my attention during a television commercial. As they are known, the Gnome that has become their corporate mascot was put in a commercial where the premise was that times are tough and cost cutting is essential. Pictures of destinations were torn from a brick wall as opposed to live video showing the scale back that Travelocity was taking. The important thing from the commercial was their innovative 50% off vacation program. Certain restrictions apply but look at their deals they are pretty enticing. Just refer to the silver lining sale.
Second, are the continuing hot deals coming from Reserve Vacations. Some of the newest vacation packages that have appeared on the site are a Myrtle Beach Golfer’s Dream Package for $199, the Orlando Unreal Deal Vacation Package which is 3 Days and 2 Nights for $239 and a Cancun Vacation Package which is called the Cancun Fun in the Sun Package which offers four distinctive vacation packages where accommodations at the Laguna Suites and Golf Resort Cancun are provided.
