I’m sure for most of you that Williamsburg Virginia and Italian Restaurants don’t seem to go together like peanut butter and chocolate, but here’s the thing, Sal’s Italian is special. I mean real special. Sal’s Italian Restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Victor a world recognized leader in the culinary community. Think this is an exaggeration well Chef Victor was an official chef of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Australia! With that title comes a talent worth visiting. 

Sal’s Italian Restaurant has been in business for about eight years now at it’s current address on Richmond Road, and for the past seven years has been voted as the Top Italian Restaurant by voters of multiple poles and dining reviews. The trick, simple, good quality food. The menu does not stray into the realms of which a person would need a finishing school in order to choose a dish, but that doesn’t mean the meals aren’t absolutely fabulous. Sal’s Italian is known for it’s signature dishes and platters of veal and chicken with various types of pasta. The sauces and gravies used for the dishes are homemade of course. The one bit of variety offered is that Chef Victor does have dishes that touch on the diverse flavors and cultures that represent the North and South regions of Italy. There’s something for the kids too. The pizza is fantastic and probably is unrivaled within 100 miles of Williamsburg as well as the New York Style Sub Sandwiches.

This may be a silly discussion, but we have received many emails from users looking for tips on which beaches are the best to visit while traveling to Cancun. I know, I know it’s probably impossible to even think that there could be such as thing as a bad beach in Cancun, but some of the questions have merit. Such questions include what beaches are family friendly, have the most activities, are the most exclusive, so on and so forth.

Well we’ve come up with three beaches that fit the bill and diversity of these questions.

Top Cancun Family Beach - Through our research the Playa Caracol is overwhelmingly considered to be the best fit for the family. For a glimpse of this extraordinary beach check out the online map. Here’s the skinny on why this is such a perfect place to bring the family. First and foremost Playa Caracol is loaded with activities. Within a stones throw impromtu games and even boating charters are available. Second, Playa Caracol is known for its calm waters and “comfortable” warm sand. So if you have a baby, and it should be stressed that keeping a baby in the hot sun for too long isn’t good, but if you do in fact have a baby, this beach is perfect. This also goes for the toddlers and young kids. The threat of raging surf or crazy party atmosphere is not around Playa Caracol.

Top Cancun Activity Beach - The Playa Langosta is really where a lot of the fun in Cancun happens. A traveler to Cancun will find everything from hip restaurants and on beach bars to snorkeling and diving tours. Top Quiet Beach in Canun - The party scene in Cancun is well known around the world. For those students out there that are lucky enough to have the funds to visit Cancun, an annual right of passage in Spring Break is their reward. Now the following beach probably shouldn’t even be suggested unless of course you have reservations at one of the exclusive properties that line the beach of Punta Nizuc. This is where you can get miles of coastline just to yourself and hear the wonderful and gentle sounds of the surf coming up to the shoreline. This area of Cancun beaches is found near the southern tip of the area. The tip is if you want to try and get to this area of beaches known as Punta Nizuc is to try and go through the Camino Real Hotel. Trust me this area is serenity at its best. No bars, no restaurants, no loud party music. Just white golden sand and quiet calm surf.

There are many more areas of Cancun Mexico that can fit the bill or interest of most any traveler. Cancun’s Beaches are world reknowned and offer paradise like you have never seen before.
